Third-Party AI Processing (OpenAI)

Some of our apps ("the App") use a third-party AI service provider, OpenAI, L.L.C. ("OpenAI"), to generate AI outputs (for example, answers, rewrites, summaries, analyses, recommendations, or other AI-generated content).

What data is shared
When you use the App's AI features, the App may transmit to OpenAI:
- The prompt text you enter
- Any text/content you choose to submit for AI processing (for example, text you ask the App to rewrite, summarize, analyze, or transform)
- Relevant context needed to fulfill your request (for example, recent prior prompts/responses and any memory content you choose to enable or save in the App, if applicable)

This information may include personal data if you choose to include it in what you enter or submit.

Who the data is shared with
This data is transmitted to OpenAI, L.L.C., which processes the data and returns an AI-generated output to the App.

Why the data is shared (how it is used)
The data is shared only to:
- Process your request and generate an AI output you asked for
- Maintain continuity/context when applicable (for example, using prior messages or user-enabled memory/context)

User permission / choice
Where required or where the App provides a consent prompt, the App will request your permission before sending prompts and related content to OpenAI. If you do not provide permission, the App will not transmit this data to OpenAI and AI generation features will be unavailable.

Data handling
OpenAI's processing of data is subject to OpenAI's applicable terms and privacy practices.
